White Well, otherwise known as Sefid Chah in Persian, is a mysterious cemetery in Iranian village of the same name.

The village lies in the Iranian province of Mazandaran and is home to the first Muslim cemetery that dates back to the 15th-16th century contemporary to the Timurid dynasty.

The white soil of this burial ground is believed by the local to have a special characteristic, preventing the dead bodies from falling into decay and decomposition.

Some of the gravestones are placed in the vertical position unlike the normal horizontal positioning of such stones in Muslim cemeteries.  Some of the grandsons of Shia Imams were laid to rest in White Well cemetery.
